Life of a Child

Today i saw a child,
Sweets in hands,
the sun was mild.
Out with friends.

His happiness was all over his face
The sun disappears without a trace.
Clouds rumbling behind the mountain.
Luck drowning in the fountain.

The sweets that drop,
Childhood gone
The eyes beg to stop
But the change was done.

The child has now frowns
The sweets have turned to amber
The liquid change is now brown
Fueling his raging temper.

This is life
Take breath
and get ready for the dive
As in the end there is only death.
