Hey, readers!

I know it is not Monday yet, but I felt like writing to you…

Yes, you my readers!

As I am at the moment studying creative writing one of my jobs now is to analyze and write poems. Sounds good no? Well, I am horrible in poems! I mean I can write rhymes, and they are not half bad, but all of them are full rhymes…

I have to adapt now, and it is not as easy as I thought it would be. Firstly English is my fourth language and secondly, I am not a huge fan of poems where there is no obvious rhyme… If it makes any sense.

Either way, I decided to upload some of my older poems and rhymes mixed with the ones I have to write for university. I hope you will like them, or not.

Dead Alive

Dead Alive is progressing well. I was able to finish a tremendous amount of work: Without any layout nor pictures I am already around 80 pages! I am surprised how much I was able to write all alone on a rulebook! I can promise you I was never a huge fan of reading these, and I hope I can make it as interesting as possible… Don’t want to produce another dry piece of rulesets.
I will see to it that I can create a public version for all the people interested. There will be some parts missing, but it should be enough to play with your friends and get a glimpse of how the game works and feels!

I wanted to share with you my prologue of the Inquisitor!
I hope you will like it:

When fire burns your skin and when ice is freezing your senses you know that you are alive but what are you when you don’t feel anything anymore?

It was a dark night and lightning broke the sky like scars.

Even though the peasants would normally stay at home on such a night, they now stood in the marketplace. Fearful and disgusted, some of them were holding torches to enlighten the scenery offering to them; others were holding their children close so that they couldn’t see what was going on pushing their heads against their bodies. The Eldest was standing in front of everybody, shivering, not because of the cold, but rather because of the fear, growing inside of him, slowly… like a snake entering the mist and working its way through to find the mouse hiding in it.

The tree, in the middle of the village, a holy place for the villagers, now, had six children, pinned to it. The tree became a symbol of fear and death instead of hope and protection. Blood flowed down to the ground, creating black puddles that seemed to absorb the light of the lightning that sometimes broke the sky. On the forehead of each dead body was engraved an old rune of unknown power.

« Burn it » said the Eldest with a shaking voice, while holding firmly to a small cross around his neck.

Without hesitation the people threw, their torches to the bottom of the tree.

As the fire grew higher, the old wood ached like screams of thousands souls. Then, the child in the middle, nailed to the tree, opened his red burning eyes and screamed in an inhuman voice « No one shall live, no one shall die, I will come back as time goes by! »

The villagers screamed out in fear and the children began to cry.

« We have to call for help. » said a man next to the Eldest,

« Yes, I know, but till help arrives we will all be dead… » answered the Eldest slowly and turned his eyes away from the fire.

Hey Readers,
I wanted to update you people that I will try my best to keep posting every Monday! If I do fail to do so, there will be a reason, and I will most likely inform you in the next post.
I am happy to see I have my first followers, and wanted to thank all of you!

LionTop Games

Hey, Readers!
Some might know that I am working on a Tabletop RPG called Dead Alive, but for those who didn’t know here what it is about:
Dead Alive can be compared with Dungeons and Dragons! If you still need some help, don’t worry! I am here to try my best to explain it to you!
Dead Alive (DA for short) is a game for 3-4 Players. One will be the Zombie Master (or the story teller). He will create a world filled with monsters, raiders and zombies. With your friends, you will create a team of survivors and try to survive the apocalypse! To do so, several dices are used and each time you plan to run, jump, fight and survive you have to get these dices rolling.

What makes this game unique?
– I have added a new hit protection system
– The Huge crafting system specially made to survive the upcoming end times.
– Zombie Creation Kit for all the extra hard working Zombie Masters out there.
– 4 Ways to die in the game
– Unique level-up system
– Still a challenge even after playing a long time
– Upgradeable cars in MadMax style
– Durability for all weapons and equipment

I have been working on this game for several years and I hope to soon be able to publish it through Kickstarter…
I am still looking for an Artist that might help me out with a layout and some art.

Inquisitor is a book I am working on…
The story follows an Inquisitor on his quest to uncover dark magic that seems to haunt the small county in Germany.
The whole book will have elements of true facts twisted to a fantastic, surreal story. Divided into 7 chapters playing with the idea of the seven deadly sins, which will have an appearance inside of the book.
I will upload bits and pieces so you can tune in, in the creation of this first book I hope to finish soon.
